Kimberly-Clark

The brief McCann asked for a fashion-editorial photography style applied to a personal care product for Kimberly-Clark — an unusual visual register for this category, created for a US magazine campaign. Brief vs. result The published image is the photograph exactly as it came out of the camera. No retouching, no recomposition: what was agreed in the brief is what was delivered. The timeline 3 days of concept development. 1 day of preparation. 20 minutes on set. Why it matters When time is tight, a photograph can’t be rescued in post-production. It’s resolved the moment the shutter clicks — or it isn’t. This project shows that a well-interpreted, tightly defined brief doesn’t need a safety net afterwards.
